Chelsea will be relocating to West Ham United attacker Mohamed Kudus during the summer transfer period.
Africans have been linked to Tottenham Hotspur for the past few weeks. Former Premier League scout Mick Brown claims that Chelsea is trying to make a move for him. It’s still unclear where the 24-year-old will go.
Kudus is also linked to Liverpool.
Chelsea took part in the race
Brown told Football Insider:
“In Chelsea, they can spend an infinite amount of money and feel ready to do so.
“They agreed to a deal with Joao Pedro. They’re following Jamie Gittens too, but from what I’ve heard, they’re not going to stop there.”
Although Kudus had a mediocre season with West Ham, he is a quality player and joining a big club may bring out the best of him. He was outstanding for West Ham during his debut season in the Premier League. He showed that he has the ability to play for the largest club in the country.
Chelsea and Tottenham can use Mohamed Kudus
Chelsea can use dynamic attackers like him, and the 24-year-old certainly will help them improve in the future.
Similarly, Tottenham needs more quality and depth with attacking units. Ghanaians can slot in a wide area, not just in the center. He adds goals and creativity to the aspects. The opportunity to join the club in Champions League football is extremely exciting for players.
Both Chelsea and Tottenham become attractive destinations for players. It would be interesting to see what players decide.
The two clubs hope to negotiate a reasonable deal with West Ham. Hammer had a disappointing season last year and needs to improve his team. They can use the revenue from African departures to bring about new signatures.
