The Los Angeles are 18th graders in Clayton Kershaw’s illustrious career.
Southpaw is easily the first Barott Hall of Fame whenever he decides to call it a career, but a familiar enemy of World Series champion Skipshmaker recently spoke about what it’s like to get into a batsman’s box against the MVP.

“Clayton Kershaw is the most dominant pitcher I’ve ever played in my career,” Schmaker told USA’s Today Bob Knightgale. “I’ve never seen anyone like him.”
As Kershaw approaches the immortal 3,000 career strikeout mark over his time at MLB, Schmaker also stated where he believes his legacy is among the historical figures remembered in the franchise.
“If someone deserves a statue outside Stadium, it’s the Clayton Car Show. How cool is it to have only one uniform in LA, especially in LA and have a statue of him in front of that stadium?” Shoemaker said.
“It’s incredible what he meant to the organization and what he meant to baseball.”
Kershaw has been pitching for the since 2008 and made his debut at the show at just 20 years old. His influence in LA was immeasurable, but it is worth noting what his legacy lies in the larger world of baseball.
After his tenure in Los Angeles, Cooperstown is definitely the place where the Car Show ends, but Schumerker also spoke about who the Car Show is off the diamond.
“I just see him at work and know what kind of person he is,” says Shumaker.
