Tottenham President Daniel Levy reportedly faces the prospect of Keispurs players seeking forwarding, and one club is said to have already made an offer.

The Spurs had discussions.

The first season managing Thomas Frank’s “Big Six” club has more expectations surrounding the North London club, especially after challenging the European campaign and winning the Europa League title in May.

Ange Postecoglou paid the price for Tottenham’s poor domestic term despite leading the club to its first major trophy in 17 years.

However, their 1-0 victory over Manchester United in Bilbao gave Frank something very important ahead of 2025/2026, and the significant financial windfall they gained from Champions League qualifiers will seriously support them in this summer’s transfer market.

According to Sky Sports Reporter Michael Bridge, Spurs are said to be “huge” in Europe’s most elite competitive position in terms of recruitment drives over the next two months, so they don’t need to adopt a sell to buy the policy.

That being said, there are certain celebrities who can leave the N17 in the coming weeks.

Son Heung-Min has attracted serious interest from Saudi Arabia, with suggestions that a 32-year-old could be sold for profit. Levy reportedly demanded about £50 million to sell the Spurs captain, who has entered the final 12 months of his contract, and star defender Christian Romero has also gained several admirers from overseas.

Argentina won last year’s Europa League players’ season and played a major role in helping Tottenham lift the trophy. Atletico Madrid, as confirmed by Diego Simeone, reports that, although his admirer, Romero has once reached an agreement to sign Mark’s appearance.

Their Cross City rival Real Madrid is also considered eager to Romero, and Xabi Alonso’s side is expected to do a “concrete” approach (Catched Offside).

Christian Romero asks Daniel Levy to ask for an exit to Tottenham

As journalist Reuben Ulia explained, Atletico appears to have gone further with the 27-year-old’s potential move.

A reporter told “Derbi en USA” via El Desmarque that Simeone’s side had offered around £56 million to Romero, which includes the add-on, but this is not close to Levy’s price tag.

The Spurs obviously slap the £70 million rating on the head of the centre-back, but Romero tells Levy that he wants to leave Tottenham when he returns from his holiday.

“He wants to come to Atletico,” Ulia said.

“Choro is in direct contact with him. All he does is go back from vacation and talk to Daniel Levy and say he wants to leave. See what happens from there. Tottenham is asking for 82 million euros to get him to leave.

“They (Atletico) offered a variable of 10 million euros to 55 million euros, and I think that’s a very good offer.”

With Romero remaining on the contract for two years, winning £70 million for his signature is a great business by Levy, but it also makes South American stubborn figures very tough to trade.

Frank is certainly not keen to lose Romero, but as things stand, this becomes an interesting story to follow, as it is not close to Tottenham’s requirements to force anyone to leave.
