Paul Pierce is one of the greatest players in NBA history. Pierce has a somewhat controversial track record, but he doesn’t deny how talented he is.
At his best, Pierce was one of the best offensive players in the NBA. And when surrounded by the right talent, he was able to help guide his team to the NBA championship.
That’s exactly what he did in 2008, as he won the Finals MVP when he led the Boston Celtics to the NBA Championship.
But where does Pierce rank among the greatest scorers in NBA history? The answer to that really depends on who you are asking.
And if you ask Pierce, he will say he is the best scorer in history. Of course, NBA fans were heavily against him when he actually uttered these words out loud.
Paul Pierce spoke to LeBron James’ recent comments about Kevin Durant when the King called Slim Reaper the best pure scorer in NBA history.
The earrings did not kindly address LeBron’s claims. He was actually the best pure scorer in NBA history and deserved to be given that distinction.
“I was probably the best pure scorer in NBA history.”
Of course, NBA fans were talking a lot about Pierce’s counterargument. One fan simply wrote, “I love the truth, but he needs to be slow.”
Another fan cried out, “He certainly lies a lot for the man called the truth.”
One fan was really surprised by the piercing’s claim. “He’s not even the greatest scorer ever,” he said.
Another fan had to point out the piercing figures. “By the way, I’ve never averaged over 26!”
However, one fan admitted that Pierce filed a lawsuit for him, saying, “No, but I’m not angry with him for believing this. He wasn’t a lot of flaws as a scorer.”
Another fan agreed to the greatness of Pierce, saying, “He has all the right to feel that way! He’s fully making offensive games as we saw it!”
None of the above comments from fans should make you forget how amazing scorer Paul Pierce is.
At his best, Pierce was an electric scorer who could get anything he wanted from all three levels. When the piercings were turned on, he couldn’t stop.
However, Pierce was not a scorer at Kevin Durant’s level. For example, Durant averages more than 26 points per game for 13 of his 17 NBA seasons.
In contrast, Pierce averaged more than 26 points per game in his NBA career. In fact, Pierce averages over 20 seasons per game.
When Durant insists that Michael Jordan or LeBron James cannot protect him, he has a very good reason to think so.
Pierce is remembered as a good scorer, but is virtually inaccurate than Kevin Durant to claim he is the purest scorer in NBA history.
