All of the Football Fancustos are devastated by the tragic passages of Diogo Jota and Andre Silva. We send thoughts and prayers to their friends, family, teammates and loved ones.

Liverpool has not signed mid-point this summer after welcoming Alexis Mac Alistair, Dominique Zobosrai, Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru End to the team after the success of Jurgen Klopp in 2023.

One feature of the ownership of the FSG was its cleverly planned transfer activities. Red rarely cleverly signs or offloads players who struggled to perform like they once did.

Last summer, Liverpool was expected to invest heavily after Klopp decided to spend his time on his historic career as the club’s manager, but Federico Chiesa was the only addition, taking part in a £12.5 million cut as he approached the final year of his contract with Fventos.

Liverpool was opposed to the grain of public opinion and was pleased with the fold, but they tried to sign Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad.

Why Liverpool wanted Martin Zubimendi

When Fabinho and Jordan Henderson leave Liverpool and go to Saudi Arabia for a total of £52 million, it was important that Liverpool strengthened their rank with new quality.

They may have missed Moises Caseco and Romeo Lavia.

Mac Allister and Endo held the fort very well, but a year later, a recognized start number 6 was needed to fit the Slot system, and Zubimendi fitted the bill.

However, the 26-year-old refused Liverpool’s progress and made the impending move to Arsenal that was frustrating to witness. However, the unsuccessful attempt was considerably mitigated by the rise of the meteor by Ryan Gravenburch.

Gravenberch has been incredibly modified in slots in a new role in the 2024/25 campaign.

But there’s no doubt that he appears tired towards the end of the semester. So it’s understandable that Liverpool will sign a new midfielder and compete for its starting spot in the deep midfieldverse.

Liverpool submits bids to new midfielders

According to a report from Spain, Liverpool joined Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen to submit an official offer for Barcelona midfielder Mark Cassad.

The 21-year-old graduate of the famous Ramasia Academy, portrays suitors seeking to take advantage of Hanshiflick’s packed midfield after silky performances in the centre for the past year at Camp Nou.

In fact, Barcelona is valued at 40 million euros (£35 million), and is expected to consider bidding as it seeks to alleviate ongoing financial problems.

Why Liverpool wants Mark Cassad

Cassad is at the start of a promising career, suggesting that his intelligence, the technical quality of the ball and his passion in the defensive stage could be a great addition to the Liverpool team that is already in stock midfield.

Celebrating Talent Scout Jacek Kulig’s “an incredible season,” Casado fought towards a prominent position within the team of Flick’s first team, winning the La Liga title in his first term as a regular.

He started 27 games last season with La Liga and the Champions League. However, the injury shortened his season as Frenkie de Jong, Gavi and Marc Bernal all played important roles.

He was impressed by his trust and confidence in winning the calculated pass and ownership, according to his sofa score, and completed 90% of his passes and won 58% of his duel on the ground.

Such a skill set may allow Liverpool to ultimately sign their own version of Zubimendi.

His long ball-play style certainly differs from Greygunvelch’s style, as he was in the top 7% of the top 5 leagues of first half passes in Europe’s top 5 leagues, top 8% of passes completed, top 10% of assists and top 9% of tackles per 90 per Khubrev.

Thus, his similarities with Zvimendi, tied to Arsenal, are highlighted.

Liverpool is already running a more refined version of his fellow two-cap Spanish International, so we are sure they will get their mitz to the right type of player in Casad, where they can start jockeys for a anchorage with Graven Birch in the coming years.

Though he has little in his professional career, Cassad has already demonstrated that his talent is most exploited from his deep midfield role, his passing and athleticism will help makeshift right-back service when and when called out.

Data via the transfer market

Zubimendi would have been a great addition, but not. Former Spanish manager Luis de La Fuente described La Real Star as one of the “best central midfielders in the world” after winning his nation in 2024.

However, Cassad would be a very cheap addition that is very likely to reach his compatriot level and then reach it. With Liverpool having many midfield options, you won’t be too frustrated with missing out on Zubimendi, who spends something on gunners in the £51 million region.

FSG hasn’t focused on strengthening Liverpool’s midfield in the transfer market this summer, but with the right opportunity, Hughes will definitely move forward to ensure a sensible signature.

And Cassad was able to prove a sharp addition in practice. The Reds have already made an official offer as they want to invite cash to the Spanish champions.
