Arsenal striker searchWhy Gyoker is a better signing than WatkinsOllie Watkins will love him: Arsenal in Talks signs £85 million “superstar”

What felt like a disappointingly quiet summer for Arsenal has now exploded into life.

Mikel Arteta’s side is now approaching confirming Kepa Arrizabalaga’s signature and announcing the deal between Christian Norgaard and Martin Zubimendi, and it appears they are determined to do more business.

For example, in the last few days, links with Ebelech Eze have exploded, and even Ollie Watkins appears to be fighting.

But the Aston Villa star will be an exciting addition to the Gunners team, but reports suggest that the club is approaching another better option to lead the line next season.

Arsenal striker search

Given Arsenal’s goalscoring struggle last season, it was no surprise to see them linking to many dangerous strikers this summer.

For a long time, it was thought that Benjamin Sesco would be the player to solve and solve the problem, but last week or so, reports emerged claiming that making a deal to sign him has proven to be far more challenging than expected.

At the same time, Watkins’ name was also thrown into the ring, with a report earlier this week that comes with his camp and another lecture, claiming he “loves” to join the gunner this summer.

But while the British are extremely talented footballers and scorers, the people of North London seem to be looking at another striker.

At least that’s what BBC Sport claims is that Arsenal is still very interested in goalscoring machine Viktor Gyoker.

In fact, the report goes a step further, revealing that Gunner is “moving forward” with a “recent” potential move from Swedish international.

It’s not clear how much the sports CP star will cost, but the report argues that the final price is likely to exceed £70 million.

It could be a complicated and expensive transfer to get over the line, but that should be pursued by Arsenal as Gyoker is a real game changer for them and could be a better signature than Watkins.

Why Gyoker is a better signing than Watkins

Now, a bit simplified, but the most important reason why Gyoker is Arsenal’s better signature than Watkins this summer is his exceptional level of output.

For example, it’s safe to say that the English star enjoyed a fantastic campaign with Villa last season.

In other words, the former Exeter City gem averaged goal involvement every 1.74 games or every 115.41 minutes.

However, despite the objectively large returns, these numbers are still pale compared to what Sportster was able to produce.

In 52 appearances in the Lisbon outfit, a total of 4,248 minutes dubbed by analyst Ben Matinson, Swedish “Powerhouse” scored 54 mammoth goals and 13 assists.

That is, international poachers remained engaged with 1.28 goals per game or 1.28 goals per 63.40 minutes.

Its sensational return rate is so extraordinary that it makes it difficult to recommend a striker other than a former Coventry City star.

Ultimately, Watkins will be a great addition to Arsenal’s team this summer, but Gyoker will be a completely game-changing thing.
