Sharfuddoula hits Mohammed Siraj with umpire’s grand breach

On the fourth ball in the 53rd in the final inning, umpire Shahdura made a horrible LBW decision in favour of the Indian National Cricket team.

Prasidi Krishna bowled the length rescue to Jamie Smith on the midstump, while English wicketkeeper Batman was beaten at pace.

Smith looked like he would play a pull shot, but he missed and got hit on the thighs of his back. After the appeal from the Indian player, Judge Shalfdura raised his fingers incredible ways, and seeing this shocked Jamie Smith.

England’s young wicketkeeper Batman immediately used reviews and survived as Ultra Edge showed the ball missed the stump with a large margin.

Shortly after the decision to be deletion was made by the third umpire on the big screen, umpire Sharfdura lobbed the ball towards Mohamed Shiraj.

Mohammed Siraj gets a blow in the head, causing Sharfdura to worry for a few seconds, then he signales to reverse his decision.

Smith was very good – Dinesh Kartic

Speaking about Sky Sports, former Indian wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Kartik gave Jamie Smith a wealth of praise, saying:

“Smith was very good to say the least. He hit some exquisite shots, but most importantly, he has perfect attitude under pressure. He came out and knew exactly what he wanted to do and tried to do him with a very quiet and calm attitude.

Meanwhile, former England skipper Nasser Hussein praised the captain of Shubman Gill. He said:

“England was putting up a lot of effort. Stokes, who hasn’t spent much time in the middle, begins to find his rhythm and the ball is softer.

“So it was a really good decision that Gill noticed to bowl from spinner Washington, just flicking the front pad for Stokes’ LBW layoff.

Speaking about the match, the English National Cricket Team has struggled 242/8 in an ongoing match in Birmingham, and they are still 366 runs away from the victory. India was trying to ensure that the rain didn’t ruin it in order to close the innings quickly.
