Karate Battle dropped a bomb on Thursday.
According to an official announcement from the promotion, he will be back in Miami for two nights next weekend (Friday, July 18th) for a final man-stand heavyweight tournament for eight people.
Among the names listed in the tournament are former BKFC heavyweight champion Alan Belcher’s 15-time veteran Chase Sherman and former two-time glorious light heavyweight title holder Sauro Cavalari.
Heavyweight knockout artist Robelis Despaigne will also be featured. Since making his KC debut in January, “The Big Boy” appears to be virtually undestroyed within the pits, killing all three enemies in a total time of 24 seconds.
Check out the first four matchups below.
UFC fans have recognized Zack Pauga, who went 1-3 within the UFC, and have recently been able to compete in DBX 1, losing their split decision to Robinson Perez.
It is unclear whether the winner will face heavyweight champion Sam Albey, who recently defeated his way through Tyrone Spon at KC 54 in May.
Aline Pereira returns to the Karate Battle Pit in Miami
A two-night stay in karate combat at Magic City will also host the revival of Brazilian knockout artist Aline Pereira, a sister to former UFC middleweight and light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.
After landing a back-to-back knockout under the KC banner, she will become 3-0 when she meets nine-time Muay Thai champion Fani Peloumpi in the KC flyweight women’s world title.
