Manchester United may be in a difficult situation with regard to relocation by next week, according to Stan Colliemore.
Speaking exclusively Catch off side For his latest column, the former Liverpool man revealed that he is worried about Man UTD’s slow start to the summer transfer period.
Now it appears that the Red Devils are starting a pre-season season, but with Matthews Cunya completing his transition from the wolves, there will only be one new signature, but Brian Mbeumo Saga continues to drag on.
Colliemore is also concerned with United that they still have things like Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho in their books, let alone others like Jadon Sancho, Antony and Rasmus Hozilund.
Stan Colliemore on Manchester United’s worry incident
Colliemore also questioned whether MUFC still has that pulling force from before, even if it is a big name in world football.
“I’m worried that Man United won’t be driving away the players. I think players will eventually need to head towards the preseason, and many players like Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho want to leave.
“I think Man United needs to have a clean slate, so I’m worried that they haven’t driven away anyone they want to remove yet.
“By next week, they might make it all right, remove four or five players and bring in two or three. But at this point, I think the early optimism of Man United fans is saying it’s one of the clubs that’s still going.
“Yes, people like Cunha and Mbeumo say they’re just going to Man United, but as discussions continue for a long time while agents sniff and promote people like Mbeumo to another club.
“So Manchester United need to be very careful and start with some of these deals on the line. Otherwise, we’ll see that it’s a very, very tricky summer transfer window for them. As a result, it’s a potentially big question mark about how the season will pan out.”
Man United must make an emergency transfer
United had a terrible season in living memories last semester, finishing without silverware and finished 15th in the Premier League table.
Reuben Amorim would have inherited a struggling team and would have hoped to do more work to make changes to the player by now.
Most fans may share the concerns raised by Colliemore. This window doesn’t seem to be approached with the kind of severity you need.
