Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has linked his move away from the club during the summer transfer.
He is in top form for the Italian club, and Vlahovic has recently been on the radar of multiple clubs.
The striker was considered one of the best young offensive players in European football when he joined Juventus. However, his performance was mediocre. He scored 17 goals in Italian outfit last season, but needs a more reliable goal scorer who can find the back of the net with consistency.
The Juventus exit might be ideal for Vlahovic
Former Juventus player Darko Kovačević believes Vlahovic should try to change the club immediately, and moving to Manchester United is a good option for him. He has been linked with Manchester United in recent months and it will be interesting to see if the Red Devils have decided to make the offer.
He told Gazzetta (h/t sportwitness): “I say I’ll move to Dusan soon. It’s not easy to leave Juventus. I say this from personal experience.
“Milan and Manchester United will be good options for Dusan.”
He’s not a key player for Juventus and it’s unlikely that if Manchester United call, they’ll get out of his way. It remains to be seen whether the two clubs will be able to negotiate a reasonable deal.
Dusan Vlahovic tries to impress
The 25-year-old Serbian International is at the height of his career and he aims to make his mark at the highest level. Joining Manchester United can be an exciting opportunity. He will try to prove himself as one of the best attackers in European football.
Manchester United also needs more quality and depth. The current attack options are overwhelming and require upgrades. Signing the 25-year-old striker could prove to be a wise decision. If he can quickly adapt to British football and reach running, Vlahovic could become an asset to the club.
