"Can't..." Rich Paul sends a message to NBA media over LeBron James' trade rumours

Rich Paul had several choice words to members of the NBA media space to speculate on LeBron James’ future.

LeBron James’ future has been a great topic of discussion for the last month or so. After the Los Angeles Lakers’ playoff elimination, comments on James’ plans for the Lakers’ future suggested he wasn’t very happy.

James’ agent Rich Paul claimed he understands LeBron prioritizing Lakers’ Luka Donsic. However, the Star believes the Lakers have not set him up to compete for the NBA championship.

However, Bill Simmons claimed that LeBron was pissed that he was the second fiddle for Lakers Don Sic. Either way, there were many who were presumed that James would leave the Lakers.

However, the 40-year-old star seemed to change his mind as both James and the Lakers promised to build a candidate for next season.

Nonetheless, there are still teams rumored to make a move for him. And Rich Paul had a lot to say about the trade speculation surrounding LeBron James.

Rich Paul spoke in an interview with SiriusXM Radio in the NBA Summer League. He told them that LeBron James coordinated their speculations with the NBA media.

But Paul and LeBron don’t grue any of the media members who spoke about their future. Instead, they choose not to clarify it or address it in the media.

“There are so many voices in today’s games, like the media and stuff like that, everyone has the work to do.

“For us, let those people do their job. You can’t refute or clarify what’s been said or not. That’s not the focus.

“You can’t dispel everything someone has to say. You’ve been around this team for a long time. You never expected someone like him.

“You want to go out here and try to prove everyone wrong, and make sure everyone is right. Criticism is critique.

Rich Paul added that every move from LeBron James is constantly under scrutiny. And he doesn’t grue the media cycle, but he doesn’t pay any attention to it.

“Everyone’s journey is different… I know how difficult it is to reach the NBA, I know how difficult it is to stay in the NBA.

“I know how difficult it is to be consistent while in the NBA. It’s easy to sit behind these microphones and criticize them.

“But everybody is at the level of respect for those who play, and I know the respect for someone at LeBron’s level, his tenure and everything he has accomplished.

“Again, you can’t buy those things (trade rumours) and people are working, so we understand, he understands it. I think, ‘How do we do it?’

For now, it’s clear that LeBron James is trying to get things to work with La Lakers ahead of the new season.
