The loss of the Lord in India not only fulfilled the criticism, but also led several non-participants into the controversy to speak against men in his performance.

After the Indian bowlers did an incredible job bowling British batsmen in just 192 in two innings, India was to chase 193 runs in almost four sessions. For anyone, even the predictors of winners, India was 100% favorite and it seemed unlikely that they would win England or a draw.

However, England ultimately won the match by 22 runs. Now, the question arises, who should be handed the credits for it, or whether an English bowler or Indian top-order batsman has done the worst in wasting the perfect opportunity to devastate fans and take the early lead of the series.

Ab de Villiers denounced India’s finest on his channel

Former Royal Challengers Bangalore star batter Ab de Villiers criticized the top five batters in the Indian lineup as a result of the match being finished with a tragic loss despite strong persistence from Jadeja and Taleenders.

He shows the intent of the game, despite such a low score and the amount of success his team has achieved. He doesn’t seem to agree with India’s strategy of playing conservative brands of cricket.

“I think Team India was wrong in my humble opinion. The final innings are too conservative with a top five bat.”

“I felt that Jadu was conservative and played it on tea because he needed to play the situation. There, the top five became fluent there and they felt they had the freedom to attack the English bowlers and put pressure on them and put a catch.”

Ab de Villiers all praise India’s bowling attack

Ab de Villiers had a strategy of digging deep into the pursuit into day 5 play, but blamed the Indian batsmen for miserably failing their outlook, but he praised the Indian bowlers for doing an incredible job according to him.

The Indian bowler made a significant contribution to India in two innings. Bumura and Shiraj each picked up two wickets. However, Washington Sundaal worked wonders on the Road on 4/22, where he cleaned up the Big Three for England: Joe Root, Ben Stokes, Jamie Smith.

“…I really believe that Team India’s bowling attack is on the England batting attack, they’re doing their job. They’re just batsmen because they’re off to a start, but they’re not just pushing,” he added.

Ab de Villiers – Second Protea identifying the lack of intentions in the Lord’s Indian Innings

Ab de Villiers is not the first South African to condemn the intentions of Indian players in two innings of the Lord’s Test. Previously, Herschel Gibbs did the same with his X-handle.

However, Gibbs not only denounced India’s top orders, but also delved into Jasprit Bumrah, who played 54 balls and showed no intention to score a run. Many have tried to support Bumura, but say that it is a need for time, Gibbs says, “If Bumura can have most of his running records in Test cricket, why wouldn’t a similar intention appear here?

All of this seems clear. Despite the format being Test cricket, for modern players, whether it’s the format of the game, it’s something that can win matches.
