Los Angeles top prospect Joss de Paula hoped his performance at the MLB Futures game helped him reach the big leagues as the defending champion.

“I hope it’s in God’s plan,” De Paula said. “At the end of the day, we never make decisions, we need to focus on what we need to do on the field and what will happen.
“But I really hope I’ll become a and stay there for a very long time.”
De Paula’s goal is to reach MLB with the , but the 20-year-old collaborated with New York Mets star Juan Soto and Cincinnati Reds star Ellie de la Cruz.
De Paula spoke about what he collected from two of the league’s biggest stars.
“There’s a lot of mental aspects because I feel that physical abilities are always there. It’s about how you move and how you go about the season. There are a lot of mental hints,” De Paula told MLB Network.
De Paula hit a three-run homer to give the national league a 4-2 victory in the Futures Game. The 416-foot bomb won him the futures game Most Valuable Player Award. This was a major personal feat for prospects who have now entered their fourth season with the Farm System.
