The latest on United Hunt for new additions from United this summerWhy United’s £309 million target will be better signed than MbeumoHe loves to play with Mbeumo: 70 million pounds CF is now eager to sign for Man Utd

After months of speculation, Manchester United finally secured Brian Mbeumo’s signature earlier this week, with Cameroon International signing a five-year deal.

The hierarchy kicked out a whopping £710 million for the 25-year-old’s signature, making it Ruben Amorim’s second summer signing after Matheus Cunha joined from Wolverhampton Wanderlers.

But that could be a huge sum, but if he replicated his form in the Premier League during the 2024/25 campaign, it could prove to be a valuable investment.

He registered goals for the last 20 leagues and found more nets in the same period alone, with talent such as Alexander Isaac, Mohamed Sarah and Ehling Haaland.

Despite the addition of MBEUMO’s big money, the hierarchy is still working tirelessly to improve the current team to succeed in the 2025/26 season.

Ollie Watkins has been a player who has been constantly linked with United over the past few weeks, and has sparked strong interest from Amorim’s side this summer.

England International could potentially be available for a fee in the £60 million region this summer. He is 29 years old and could swell slightly, considering he’s on the back end of his professional career.

However, according to the Spanish outlet, PSG striker Randal Kolo-Muani has also been thrown into the mix with another name in their vision.

They claim that the Red Devils are preparing an opening offer to the Frenchman after scoring 10 goals on 22 loans for the Italian side of Juventus.

Newcastle United also said that the 26-year-old hunter, and Luis Enrique’s side is currently demanding a £309 million fee for his signature this summer.

Why United’s £309 million target will be better signed than Mbeumo

Signing players after scoring 20 league goals on England’s top flight is undoubtedly a great business for a club that will last forever in the bottom half of every campaign.

However, there may be some concerns about his impact next season, but given Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 system, it could have to operate in an unnatural role at the club.

The Cameroonians operated in right-wing positions between Brentford, but could be forced to play in a midfield role during the attacking center during Old Trafford.

It proves to be a major investment in players who are not familiar positions, and as a result, it may not be possible to replicate a good form from 2024/25.

As a result, Koro Muani could be a better option this summer, handing over the manager the centre forward he’s been hoping for since retrieving his reins last November.

Comparing the French statistics with Mbeumo’s statistics from recent seasons, he was able to make him better in many important areas, highlighting the threat he faces in the attacking area.

Labeled as “superstar” by former Ballon D’OR Lothar Matthäus, Koro Muani posted the same goal per shot at target rates, introducing the clinical edge he owns in front of the goal.

He was also able to register higher shots with target accuracy, but won more air battles.

This advantage is further reflected in his tally of his take-on completion and highlights of higher pass completion rates.

£39 million proves to be a great price for the 26-year-old striker. The 26-year-old striker will enter the best year of his career if he completes his transition to Old Trafford.

If the Red Devils can solve the problems they currently have within the last third, he is worth every penny, filling the void at the top of the pitch, after which he signs more than Mbemo.
