Liam Dawson, a 35-year-old spin bowling all-rounder for the English National Cricket team, has dreamed of his Test team eight years later.
Liam Dawson bagged his first Test wicket in the bag, not taking much time to make an impact in eight years after rejecting Yashasvi Jaiswal, a batsman for the National Cricket Team at Old Trafford in Manchester.

Liam Dawson takes the test wicket after 2, 928 days of gap
Dawson was a standout performer in Cricket County, but he was constantly overlooked by the Cricket Board (ECB) Select Committees in England and Wales.
He dropped out of the test playing XI since 2017, and hope for a comeback hit even more when Ben Stokes showed his faith to young Shoaib Bashir to handle his spin bowling duties in red ball cricket.
However, due to an injury to Shoaib Basil in the Lord’s Test, the door was opened for Liam Dawson to revive the Test, and he was soon slotted into Play XI for the Manchester Test.
Dawson dismissed Yashasvi Jaiswal in the first ball of the 41st, so he put only seven balls in his first spell to take the wicket. He bowled a good-length ball outside the stump, and Yashasvi Jaiswal rimmed it into Harry Brook’s hand on the first slip.
Meanwhile, Liam Dawson bagged the wickets in Test cricket for eight years with the English National Cricket Team, 2928 days, 102 Tests.
Dawson took the wicket and spoke on air before celebrating vigorously. He said:
“Liam Dawson should be really proud of himself. The first (he) brings some (the ball revolution) and hits the right area, and the second area also has a wicket. A simple catch to Harry Brook.”
“What a wicket, what a feeling for Dawson. It took him eight years to get the opportunity.

Talking about Sky Sports before the game began, Naserfsane said Liam Dawson had made a significant improvement in the game. He explained in detail:
“Yeah, about time. I mean, he said he was going to knock down the door, but last year he said he gave up on playing Test Match Cricket.
“The people who saw him playing in Cricket County, the Hampshire fans, the way he did, and he continues to improve. And everything we have, Stokes and Cust, and the heart of lions, so you can talk about this young man too.”
“This young man is a tough competitor. And when you come to the midseries and have to wait eight years for the next Test match, you’ll need a little ticker. This young man has shown that he has a lot of tickers.
