Shara Magomedov never minded keeping his O.
After delivering a quartet of light-out performances within the Octagon, “Bullet” took a unanimous decision to former Bellator star Michael “Venom” page following the defeat of his first career in the UFC Saudi Arabia in February.
The loss ended Magomedov’s unbeaten 15-0 record, but Daguestani wasn’t particularly worried about continuing to soak up his resume.
“Fighters with zero losses often say the weight of that record is heavy when they fight, and they are worried about a lot about the numbers,” Magomedov said ahead of his return at UFC Abu Dhabi. “But my feelings before this battle were different than before the final battle. I didn’t worry about that zero.
Shara ‘Bullet’ Meets Meet
Magomedov aims to bounce back this Saturday when the UFC returns to the UAE Etihad Arina. Meet him inside the Octagon by Mark Andre Barrier, a favorite of Canadian fans.
“Powerbar” snapped a skid that lost three games in May, landing a 87-second TKO on Bruno Silva at UFC 315.
“I am sure with this victory, two more, two more, three more fights that I will be there as soon as I return to the top of the division,” Magomedov added. “Potentially, I’m already breathing behind the top five if I show one or two good finishes. I’m right there.
