Almost 30 years after “Happy Gilmore” first tee-off as a sports comedy hit, the sequel reunites Adam Sandler, Christopher McDonald and Julie Bowen in a massive assist and iconic role from the sports world.

This time, the Green is stacked with cameos from PGA legends such as Jack Nicklaus and John Daley, as well as current stars such as icons from Rory McIlroy, Scotty Scheffler, Nelly Korda, and NFL, NBA, WWE.

The sequel leans towards the roots of the sport, packed with enough star power to rival pop culture, nostalgia and major championship leaderboards.

This is a breakdown of all the athletes that appear in Happy Gilmore 2.

Jack Nicklaus: Nicklaus, one of the greatest golfers of all time, won a record 18 major championships. In the film he jokes about being mistaken for Arnold Palmer – a drink included.

Fred Couple: The 1992 Masters Champion’s love for Blueberry Jubilee is fully on display in the film.

John gave it: The winner of the 1995 Open Championship lives in the film’s Sandler basement, playing a key role in the family scenes that director Kyle Newczek called “really important.”

Corey Pabin: The 1995 US Open Champion made a surprising appearance.

Lee Trevino: A six-time major champion, Trevino recreates his role from the original film.

Nancy Lopez: Lopez was a pioneer in women’s golf, winning three major championships and was the face of the LPGA in the late 1970s and 1980s.

Scotty Scheffler:Schaeffler plays himself in the film as he is number one in the world. It will be released after Whirlwind Week, which won the 2025 Open Championship.

Rory McIlroy: With the explosive drive and global star power of four major winners, McIlroy, he is one of the biggest draws in golf and a natural fit for the film.

Justin Thomas: Thomas is the winner of two PGA Championships and brings reliability to the screen.

Jordan Spieth: The three major winners appear as themselves, receiving the wrong drink from the Bad Bunny in light moments.

Xander Schauffele: Schaufele, fresh from his first major victory, brings his talent to the film.

Collin Morikawa: Morikawa, the two major winner known for his steady play, has a calm presence with his cameo.

Keegan Bradley: The winner of the 2011 PGA Championship adds a grounded perspective to the film’s star-studded golf ensemble.

Tony’s discussion: Finau, known for his carefree nature and great swing, called the original Happy Gilmore one of the greatest comedies of all time.

Brooks Koepka: Four-time major champion Koepka brings major muscles to the fairway and film.

It will be Zalatoris: Zalatoris has multiple runner-ups, including the Masters, the US Open, and the PGA Championship, and is joining the ever-growing list of comedic cameo professionals by bringing humor to moments when Sandler’s character still mistakes anyone with the bag.

Baba Watson: One of the most quirky swings in the two-time Masters Champion game, Watson is perfect for Happy Gilmore’s wild drive and personality world.

Ricky Fowler: One of the game’s most stylish players, Fowler adds talent to the film’s already stacked roster.

Bryson Deccanbeau: The 2020 US Open Champion, known for his power from the tee and for his analytical approach to the game, shows his sense of humor.

Nelly Kolda: The Olympic gold medalist and former world number one, Korda brings sophisticated games and consistent performance to represent the LPGA.

Page Spiranuck: The former NCAA and professional golfer become social media personalities, while Spinac becomes a prominent voice in the digital golf space, appearing in the film as an employee of a sports goods store.


Football Star

Travis Kelse: The Kansas City Chiefs star, three-time Super Bowl champion and half of the NFL’s most high-profile couple with Taylor Swift, shows off the timing of comedy as a server in one of the film’s memorable scenes.

Reggie Bush: The outstanding, retired NFL running back with USC and the 2005 Heissman winner will appear with nods and nods to his electric college football career.


Basketball Star

Kelsey Plum: A two-time WNBA champion and the highest ever scorer in women’s college basketball, Plum brings Hoops’ expertise and charisma to the film.

Bovan Marjanovich: Marjanovic, a cast member of the NBA and John Wick 3, is a 7-foot-4 fan favorite of NBA and John Wick 3. The character, which portrays Mr. Larson’s son, a memorable role in the original film, pays tribute to the late actor who passed away in 2014.


Pro Wrestling Star

Bad Bunny: One of the world’s biggest music stars and occasionally one of the WWE wrestlers, Bad Bunny plays a happy caddy and server, stealing scenes and drinks.

Becky Lynch: Lynch, one of WWE’s most famous stars, brings her signature edge and charisma to the mix.

Nikki Garcia: Garcia, a WWE Hall of Fame, formerly known as Nikki Bella, and a former reality TV personality, has contributed to the film’s sports and entertainment crossover.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF): The AEW superstar, known for his Brash persona, adds his trademark heel energy for professional wrestling.
