Jimmy Butler sounded excited about next season with the Golden State Warriors, but he made one important error that could confuse some of his teammates.
On paper, the Golden State Warriors should be able to compete for titles. Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green are probably the best “big three” in the NBA, and under Steve Kerr, the Warriors have a championship pedigree.
But it’s not 2017 anymore, Curry, Butler and Green are all elite players, but they’re on the wrong side of 35, but age keeps up to them, and injuries are a constant threat.
On top of that, the Warriors have done a poor job of adding all sorts of talent behind Core 3. Butler was happy to point it out.
After the Warriors trade with Butler, he quickly and eagerly aspires to serve as Curry’s sidekick, calling himself “Robin.”
“I’m on the way to be great,” he posted on Instagram. “Robin, he’s going to Robin from this mother – this year. Batman is going to do his job. Draymond is a Batmobile.
His phalang seemed to end there, drying his teammates high and dry.
“Who else got it?” he asked. “I don’t know. Golden State.”
The fans were quickly stacked.
“Bro doesn’t even know who’s on the roster other than Curry & Draymond,” the fans commented.
“Thirty days before training camp was crazy, another post said, “Who else got it?” “It’s not related.”
“He gave names to three players and the buddy,” the third added. “The dubs were cooked.”
Of course, Golden State doesn’t do the best job of closing its roster. And perhaps Butler can’t blame him on his dullness.

This summer, the Warriors lost Kevon Rooney in free agency, and it appears likely that Pat Spencer and Gary Payton II will also leave the Bay.
The Warriors have linked Al Horford and DeAnthony Melton, but neither signed the title and Golden State has yet to make one additional. But their “titled hope” fact relies on a 39-year-old center who contemplates retirement, and ACL tear-in-the-mouth bench player Melton doesn’t bring much confidence.
As a result, some fans quickly defended Butler to ask who else was on the roster.
“He didn’t want to mention any other names.
“We couldn’t name another useful player on our team. I’m not Jimbo either,” another added, denounced the Warriors’ roster.
Of course, Brandin Podziemski, Buddy Hield and perhaps Jonathan Kuminga all return to the team, but these names are not confident because they are the three of the most outstanding players in the entire NBA.
As Butler knows well, “Batman and Robin” is the Warriors’ only hope that even making the playoffs will, with the help of “Batmobile,” will make far less of a title win.
