Two well-known NBA players joined the Utah Jazz this summer, but it is unclear whether they will play together.

The Utah Jazz were the worst NBA record team last season, and their offseason moves make it uncertain whether they will improve.

All eyes are on Draft Pick Ace Bailey, checking if he can start turning their property.

To support Bailey, the Jazz has acquired some of their wisdom, two experienced NBA players who may be able to share Kevin Love and Georges Nian.

Georges Nian landed in 2025 as the fourth NBA team after the Jazz traded with the Boston Celtics.

He started in 2025 with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team that had the highest record in the NBA at the time, and is now the worst.

The Cavaliers traded Nian for the Atlanta Hawks at the trade deadline, and he was then sent to Boston as part of the Christaps Porzingis contract.

Without playing the Celtics game, Nian was traded for Utah, and the team tried to cut their pay costs even lower, redeeming undrafted rookie RJ Lewis JR.

Niang is currently on the same team as veteran Kevin Love.

This dates back to 2011 when Nian was playing for Iowa State college. His coach at the time was Fred Hoyberg, the player who helped him take him to the Timberwolves while he was in the front office.

“It was a huge tribute for his background in the NBA,” Nian said at the time.

Hoiberg helped Niang reach the NBA and was drafted on his 50th overall pick with the Indiana Pacers.

Now he’s sharing a roster with Kevin Love for the first time in his career. For now.

Kevin Love was traded to the Utah Jazz from the Miami Heat earlier this summer, along with Kyle Anderson as part of a three-team deal that sent Norman Powell to the Raclippers from the Heat.

The Jazz has pay space to take on the deal between Love and Nian, essentially becoming a garbage dump for other NBA teams.

It is unknown whether Ai and Nian will play together. There is speculation that Love is looking for a way out of Utah.

Brett Siegel of Clutch Points reports that Love might consider his acquisition of Utah contract and dreams of landing with either the LA Lakers or the LA Clippers.

In the former case, he would share the court with his former Cleveland Cavaliers title-winning teammate LeBron James.

Georges Nian may face a long shot to convince him to stick to jazz.
