Hugo Ekitike went 1-0 for Liverpool against Crystal Palace just four minutes after today’s Community Shield clash at Wembley.

The French forward joined the Reds of Entracht Frankfurt this summer, and today is his first competitive game for the club.

It turned out to be a dream start for Ekitike, and for summer arrival companion Florian Wiltz, he got the opening assist for the palace.

Ekitike is undoubtedly happy to start this fast start at Liverpool with liveder.

Hugo Ekitike makes an immediate impact in Liverpool

Ekitike finished last season with 22 goals and 11 assists from Eintracht Frankfurt. He appears to be very continuing in that way when launching new campaigns.

Ekitike’s strike is about to build on the success of last season, so it could potentially send out the LFC to the early trophies of the 2025/26 season.

Arne Slot’s team has won the Premier League title and is looking to continue further by retaining its crown in other tournaments such as the Champions League.

Signatures like Ekitique look like Liverpool’s main statement. Liverpool has revamped the team with signatures from Florian Wiltz, Jeremy Fripon and Milos Kerquez.

Of course, Liverpool’s rivals were busy, with Arsenal signing quality players like Viktor Gyokeres and Martin Zubimendi, while Manchester City added exciting players like Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Rejnders.

Chelsea may also have had a busy summer with the signatures of talents such as Joanne Pedro, Liam Dellup, Jamie Gittens, Esteva Willian, and Jorell Hato.
