Rumors from inside the MotoGP paddock are shared about Alex Rins losing his race seat.
The Factory Yamaha Riderlins are on a contract in 2026 alongside Fabio Cartararo, but there are doubts.
A key decision regarding Yamaha’s rider lineup is within the Pramac Satellite project.
They have already signed Toprak Razgatlioglu, so they will have to choose whether or not one of the current riders, Jack Miller or Miguel Oliveira, will stay on the other bikes.
Yamaha faced decisions about Alex Lyns

However, Dona’s reporter Jack Appreid explained that the rider’s merry-go-round at Yamaha could become even more complicated.
“Jack wants to stay at MotoGP. There was an offer at the WorldSBK table, but it looks like it’s now closed,” Appleyard told Fox Sports’ Pit Talk Podcast.
“One was from Honda, but it looks like Jake Dixon will take it.
“Suzuka is a big thing. It’s a good thing. The fact that Jack went there was a big show of Yamaha’s faith.
“He hopes that the result will be rewarded.”
Miller finished as runner-up as part of the Yamaha team at the Suzuki 8 Hours, a priority event for Japanese manufacturers. That could be the boost Miller needs for a new deal.
“Where will he end? It’s shaking with rumors – and I don’t know how much they weigh – about the conversation between Yamaha and Alex Lyns,” Appleyard explained.
“He’s an incredible rider and has five MotoGP wins on his name. His talent is clear.
“But unfortunately, it’s clear to everyone that after his horrible leg breaks at Mugero, he’s not one of the same riders.
“Because he’s a huge talent and a great guy.
“But is Yamaha in its current position? If they want to break into the next level, I don’t think they can have a rider lineup based on goodwill.
“They need to make tough decisions, get riders who can be brutal and move their projects forward.
“Whether it pays Alex from his contract a year earlier, promotes Jack and puts the rookie along with Top Luck.
“Jack has a wealth of knowledge and is able to step into the factory team, as he did with Ducati and KTM.
“He knows how to play the ‘second rider role.’ He knows what his job is. He will be able to work in supporting Fabio. ”
RINS is located under the satellite rider mirror in MotoGP rankings during the summer vacation.
However, he has not shown any seductive form even before his horrific injury at Mugero in 2023.
The Spanish veteran has only made one top-10 finish at the Grand Prix this season.
That’s far from winning his race, and his 2023 victory at the American circuit for Honda is refreshing to remember.
However, Yamaha is dead set in improving the fate of MotoGP, with riders like Miller having commercial value that cannot be ignored.
Given that they have already signed Pramac on the exciting Razgatlioglu in 2026, Yamaha shows they are pleased with the brave decision.
