Jalen Williams could have won the best third year an NBA player could have sought when he won the championship, along with creating an All-Star and an All-Definite team.
He put out some big performances for the OKC Thunder throughout the NBA Finals, and after the victory Williams revealed he was playing on an injured wrist.
His ability to become a goal scorer is a qualities that have helped lightning dramatically while piling up the best players in the opposition.
While Bunchelo is certainly a production superstar, Bontemps said the modern NBA needed a player like Williams when he came in against the backdrop of choosing the Thunderstar as the first overall pick in the 2022 re-draft.
He said:
“But looking at the modern NBA, what’s more needed is two-way wing play, and Jalen Williams is the one who is considered to be all the defensive candidates for Wing, who has featured a massive scoring game in the finals.
Williams’ incredible performance with Thunder meant he was given a five-year, $287 million extension.
He is considered the second best player in the franchise behind Shy Gilgauss Alexander, but Williams plays the most important role in the team.
His ability to play and get the ball is the qualities of a great NBA player while trying his best on the defensive side.
They have one of the best rosters in the league and look like a production dynasty, so he wants to continue playing for the lightning.

However, even if Williams moves to another team, he can become a valuable player for his abilities.
Williams was selected 24th in the draft class, but he decided to succeed and proved that he deserved to be drafted higher in his rookie season.
The early sign is that he wins more honors, and if it’s all right, Williams could be one of the best two-way players in the modern NBA.
