Los Angeles utility man Quique Hernandez made an exciting announcement earlier this week.

Hernandez took him to social media and announced that he and his wife, Mariana, would be welcoming her son next year.
“Kikito is coming soon! #2026,” Hernandez wrote on Instagram.
The didn’t have one of Hernandez’s most versatile players, who has been on the sidelines with a sprain on his left elbow since early July.
Hernandez was initially concerned that he would not be able to return this season as the 33-year-old received multiple non-surgical procedures to deal with the illness. However, manager Dave Roberts provided utility men with a possible return timeline.
“He’s not in pain, he’s playing catch and I think he’s coming. He’s playing baseball now, and I think it’s kind of a September 1 situation. I think it’s kind of a broad, vague, greyish date, but I think it’s back after seeing rehab.
“I think it’s something we want.”
The position player has been hampered by injuries this summer, with Tommy Edman, Heisenkim and Max Mancey also on the injured list. However, as Hernandez is playing a key role for the and is poised for October, the latest news of his potential returns is huge for LA.
Beyond the results of the 2025 season, there’s something exciting for Hernandez next year. Snation is hoping to celebrate the four members of Hernandez’s family.
