Tottenham faces Man City in the Premier League this afternoon, leaving the field, with both clubs chatting with Winger Sabigno.
Today’s clash in the Eastlands has leaned as an opportunity for Lily White’s chief to hold in-person consultations with city officials over his contract with Brazilian International, and comes after the Spurs’ already well-documented pursuit.
According to Savinho’s agent Frederico Moraes, Thomas Frank’s side has seen a bid of just over £40 million rejected, but the player’s camp is now in London, seeking to encourage debate to see Savinho’s move to north London.
The former Girona star, who will not play a role today due to injuries, is considered to be extremely keen to join the Spurs as he will become a mainstay in the Premier League ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
“The players are keen to travel to Tottenham, but the players have not broken their ties with Manchester City,” said Fabrizio Romano on his YouTube channel earlier this week.
“So, if a player can go to Tottenham, I’m happy because I want him to be one of the faces of the project, as Thomas Frank can play him regularly.
Daniel Levy, technical director Johann Lange and CEO Vinai Winketesham still abandon themselves from the public humiliation of missing out on Ebebeki Eze.
In response, reports from Brazil suggest that Tottenham is really pushing out the boat and signing Savinho.
But the city’s stance so far is that he has not been for sale and Pep Guardiola has publicly stated that he hopes to remain in Manchester for many years.
“I’m worried now that Savigno will be with us for the rest of the season. And he’s been concerned for years and years as he’s a 21-year-old that he may have, because he’s an extraordinary player.
“Otherwise, he wouldn’t have played more than 3,000 minutes last season. Finally, the player’s desires are more than anything else. But they have to find an agreement with the club. If they don’t agree, the players will be here. ”
If South American movement hits a brick wall, journalist Pete O’Rourke told Soccer Insider that Tottenham has identified a “cheaper” alternative.
Tottenham identifies Monacostar Magnes Acryuce as an alternative to “cheap” Savinho
O’Rourke claims that Spurs sees Monaco Star Maghnes Akliouche as the man, coming after he scored seven goals and 12 assists in all competitions at the 23-year-old last season.
“(Tottenham) has expressed interest in Manchester City’s Sabigno, but City has so far rejected their interest, saying it doesn’t want to lose him.”he said on the inside track podcast.
“They are trying to price Brazilians out of movement, so Tottenham is looking at his potential alternative.
“What appears to be eye-catching at the moment is Magnes Acriuche, a 23-year-old Monacostar, a very talented young player and a cheaper alternative to Savinho.”
Other media sources believe the Frenchman who won France and Silver at the 2024 Olympics could be available for just under £50 million, so Levy will have to pay a fair amount.
Akliouche is no stranger to big occasions, but the winger gave him an impressive Champions League performance last season, including opening goal in Monaco’s 2-1 victory at Barcelona.
