Durbin Ham was present to see Greece and Giannis Antetocompo, but realized the strategy the Milwaukee Bucks should use.

Giannis Antetokounmpo made a big buzz about his future in yet another NBA offseason. Milwaukee Bucks forwards tend to stir up speculation from time to time.

In a desperate attempt to make Giannis happy, the Bucks abandoned Damien Lillard and increased their pay for five years.

This was done to create cap space, so the Bucks signed Miles Turner and snapped the Big Man from their rivals, the Indiana Pacers.

But if Durbin Ham can be trusted, the trick to keep Giannis happy in Milwaukee is to play the team like the Greek national team.

Darvin Ham was in attendance to watch Giannis Antetokounmpo and 75-66 victory in Greece’s 75-66 Eurobasket tournament.

When talking about what Giannis looks like, he admits that Greece has a more team-oriented approach with the superstars, but the Bucks rely on Superman for the speed of the game.

“Absolutely. It’s more team-oriented, more sets. All of these are different here. They don’t play as fast as we do in the NBA. In the NBA, his usage rate is off the charts.

“He always has the ball in his hand, he has a slightly different role for him there. He does an amazing job of including his teammates.

“I can’t stress that enough. He has to be a Superman with us. It’s good to see him do both.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped 31 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the victory and scored the team. In fact, Antetokounmpo was the only Greek player to score over 10 points.

The Milwaukee Bucks are hoping that Giannis Antetocomo will bring this form into the NBA season as they face a massive challenge next season.

The Indiana Pacers and Boston Celtics have been taken out of the fight for injuries, but the New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers are still top players, with the Orlando Magic and Atlanta Hawks also improving.

The depth of the Bucks’ roster has been undermined by Damian Lillard’s abandonment and stretching approach, and they will depend very much on their top players to keep them floating next season.
