Manchester United continues to face strong transfer interest to Starmidfield player Bruno Fernandez, who previously turned down an approach from Saudi Arabia.

Information sources with close links to the agent industry have been notified Catch off side Al Nassr and Al Ittihad have been trying to sign Fernandez over the past few months.

Cristiano Ronaldo contacted his fellow Portuguese International directly about joining him in Al Nassle, but Fernandez made it clear that his preference was to stay in Man Wood.

“Bruno was approached directly by Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer and made two separate attempts to take him with him, with an invitation to join Al Nasr Manager Jorge Jesus, but Fernandez declined all offers,” a source said.

Currently, several sources have confirmed that the situation in Fernandez could change soon, but the 31-year-old is expected to be seen after January 2026.

So far, United’s preference has not been to sell the club’s captain, but there is also the perception that it is etched into a chance to earn serious money from his sales.

Catch off side Fernandez understands that he will likely continue to have a suitor for the Saudi Arabian professional league, but MLS clubs and the European topside are also monitoring his situation.

Should Man United make cash from Fernandez?

United fans will certainly feel they need to keep players as important as this, but Ir Jim Ratcliffe often emphasizes the need for clubs to cut costs.

MUFC has invested heavily in a long list of failed signatures, which will likely be under pressure to sell.

Fernandez was an important player for the team, but given his age it may be time to start a rebuild without him anyway.
