Fabrizio Romano Tips for Getting Adam Wharton RunningMan United faces competition to sign Wharton

Manchester United’s target Adam Wharton was impressed with Crystal Palace, but will be able to leave the Eagles next year, according to transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano.

Reuben Amorim’s Man United is tied to Palace’s Wharton’s move as reinforcements for Red Devils Eye Midfield.

Even during the recently closed summer transfer period, Amorim and his management tried to sign Carlos Valleva from Brighton, but they failed to convince Brighton to sell the midfielder, even if the players were open to the move.

Now, Romano claims Wharton, who is also on the radar at Old Trafford, can leave the palace elsewhere due to growing interest in his services.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano said:

“If anything happens, I think it will be after the World Cup, but certainly now the focus of the players is on Crystal Palace.

“He didn’t want to move this summer, he wasn’t looking for a move because he was completely focused on the palace.

“In 2026, not only Premier League clubs, but also Spanish clubs, including Real Madrid, are keeping an eye on the boys, so you won’t be surprised if something happens.

As Romano says, not only Premier League clubs, but Real Madrid are also exploring opportunities to sign young British midfielders.

If United wants to sign Wharton, the next window could be a battlefield. On their part, the Palace can hold firmly against the offer until after the World Cup, unless the sensational bids adhere to the hands.

However, with Wharton’s contract running for the long term, his rise is something to be seen, and from United’s perspective, securing him will allow him to redefine the midfield in the transition.

The 21-year-old is known for bringing stability in the middle and maintaining his possessions. This is a must-have in unity.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle United are also reportedly monitoring Wharton.
