Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola clearly feels he is struggling as he plays a major role in leading his team to six Premier League titles, as many believe his employers spend a lot of money on transfer markets and players’ wages and bonuses.
To be fair, other clubs have spent a lot of Chelsea and Manchester United Chelsea in recent years, not winning titles. Putting Manchester City’s success under Guardiola’s leadership strictly down on obviously spent money doesn’t make much sense.
On the other hand, Catalan tacticians feel they have a lot of money to spend a lot of money for all the worsening, right?
Also, what he said here should say Guardiola doesn’t go to Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta or Arne’s slots in Liverpool, but rather to those who dismiss the quality of his work just because he spent a lot of money on the way.
