Abhishek Sharma breaks Evin Lewis’ Sixes record

Meanwhile, Sharma’s explosive innings not only won the Indian match against Pakistan, but also drove him into a massive T20I record book. He completed 50 sixes in his 20th T20I innings and achieved milestones with fewer balls than any player in history.

He surpassed Evin Lewis’ previous record and became the first cricketer to reach a 50 six with a ball under 350 in T20I cricket. Lewis won 366 balls and Abhishek achieved this feat with 331 balls. Abhishek quickly became one of the most dangerous hitters in T20 cricket.

He averages 35.40 in just 20 innings, 708 times on 197 strike rates. His 63 boundaries and 53 Six tally reflect his fearless style and incredible consistency.

Abhishek surpasses the milestone of mentor Yuvraj Singh

Additionally, Abhishek competed for half a century with just 24 balls, setting the fastest 50 new records against Pakistan by Indians. He is a coach and broke the previous half-century record of the 29-balls of legendary all-rounder Yuvraj Singh.

Previously, Abhishek accused Pakistani bowlers Shaheen Afridi and Harris Rauf of personally attacking him and Shubman Gill in four super matches in Dubai.

India leads the Super 4 Points table with two points, while Bangladesh also has two points, but it sits second due to its low net run rate. Blue man Next up will be playing Bangladesh on September 24th and Sri Lanka on September 26th..
