If West Ham United were looking for the perfect moment to act decisively, the current turbulence around Graham Potter could be just that.
After a tiresome start to the season, pressure at London Stadium has risen, and speculation points to a change in the club’s management team.
At the heart of many of these whispers is Nuno Espirito Santo, whose name resurfaced as a major candidate, and, importantly, West Ham appears to have a clear path to pursuing him.
Nuno, whose recent fire of Nottingham Forest, will be available in the market if Hammer decides to make changes at the club after Potter’s poor performance this season.

Andy Goldstein began a conversation, discussing Nuno’s availability and whether he would face a race to sign him.
Speaking about Talksport, he said:
“Are there any other clubs who see his situation and think, ‘We should take him before West Ham’?’ ”

For West Ham, for clubs seeking stability rather than a quick reinvention of the season, Nuno’s method could represent an act of balancing solidity and measured ambition.
Of course, making administrative changes during the season is not risk-free. The next coach should adapt quickly, beat the middle class team and start delivering results immediately.
The longer the West Ham delays, the more momentum Potter can be, and it can be more difficult to change the story.
The struggles of early seasons under Potter have opened the door for change, and Nuno appears to be emerging as a major contender, especially given the rare opportunities of low competition.
