Everton made four games without annoyed victory as the struggling West Ham United side came from behind to save the draw of Nuno Espirito Santo’s debut.

Moe is “disappointed” by West Ham Draw

After an impressive start, Everton will endure four games and want to forget pretty quickly. David Moe, who lost to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup mid-week, would have been keen to prove that the Hammers were far from the relegation contenders that look like this season, seeing his team bring West Ham to the sword.

Michael Keene’s goal, within 20 minutes, seemed to set the hosts along the way and prove the points they were aiming for. As for West Ham, they found themselves in a position that is too familiar to them.

But like with Aston Villa and the Wolves in the previous weeks, Toffee was quick to be satisfied, allowing Jarrod Bowen to fight back against his previous manager and rescue a much-needed point on the road. It was the type of game that Everton had hoped to win at Hill Dickinson, but in the end he extended his win and loss instead.

Speaking to reporters after a 1-1 draw, Moys admitted his disappointment and said, “They’re the ones who are hoping for me.” “We gave up too many transitions — mostly in the second half. We’re disappointed that we didn’t achieve our second goal, but we probably didn’t create a really clear cut.

“I take a lot of positive things from the game. One thing we should not forget is the good team West Ham has. They have Brazilian internationals.

Meanwhile, Ferguson had his say and once again targeted a particular Everton star who struggled.

Everton and West Ham made a 1-1 draw and came to football on Monday night, with Ferguson slamming Beto for a “very bad” performance on another frustrating night of Toffee’s forward.

“Beto was very poor for me. I don’t remember Everton having many opportunities. Everton was poor in advance. I could smell it in the second half and Everton made some defensive mistakes…”

The former striker then said: “Everton struggled to make the chance tonight. Grelish, ndiaye, beto – we need a better platform. Beto is good at running in the back, but we need a platform to launch the pitch. Technically, he’s not there.”

After just two goals in eight matches in all competitions, Beto’s format is a topic of frustration for both Everton fans and experts.

With Tierno Barry fighting for his place, the 27-year-old has to turn things around for £60,000 a week before being completely abandoned by Moy of Merseyside.
