Newcastle United are interested in signing Alexander Sorloth from Atletico Madrid in the coming months.

The 29-year-old has been linked with a move away from the La Liga club in search of regular appearances. A return to the Premier League could be an exciting one for the Norwegian international. Newcastle could use more quality players in their attacking line, and another striker would be ideal.

According to Fijages, they are preparing to offer him close to €50 million to bring him back to the Premier League. Atlético Madrid have a wealth of talent in attack and will not be able to give the Norwegian regular chances.

It would make sense for him to leave the club. Newcastle have an exciting project and they aim to build a team that can win trophies on a regular basis. They could also use the 29-year-old striker. His experience and quality will prove invaluable.

Newcastle have qualified for the Champions League, but they need to strengthen their squad if they are to perform well in multiple competitions. Adding another striker to the team could be a wise decision. Soros knows the league well from his time at Crystal Palace and should be able to make an immediate impact.

The 29-year-old striker is looking to make his mark with the Eagles. He will want to play regularly and a move to Newcastle could be exciting for him. It remains to be seen how the situation will develop.

The striker will be desperate to get his career back on track. Leaving the Spanish club would be ideal for him and the opportunity to join a Premier League first team would be very exciting.
