The Los Angeles advanced to the NLCS for the fourth time in six seasons with a dramatic overtime victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday.
In the 11th inning of overtime, relief pitcher Orion Kirkeling grounded out with the bases loaded and the defeated the Phillies 2-1.

The broadcast schedule for the first three days of the ALCS and NLCS has been announced, and the will play games at different times depending on which team they play in the NLCS.
If the Milwaukee Brewers advance to face the , Game 1 of the series will be held on Monday, October 13th at 5:08pm PT. That game will be played in Milwaukee, as the Brewers hold the No. 1 seed in the National League. Game 2 of the series will be played on October 14th at American Family Field, also at 5:08pm PT.
If the Cubs win the National League, they will have home field advantage in the series since the are the third seed and the Cubs are the fourth seed. As with the other scenarios, the series opener will take place on October 13th, but game time will be 4:08pm PT.
If the Cubs advance, Game 2 will be played at Stadium on October 14th at 5:08pm PT.
Who are the playing in the NLCS?
The will face either the Cubs or Brewers in the NLCS.
The have had much more success against the Cubs than the Brewers this season, but they have still lost four of their seven games against the North Siders. The won the first three games of this season’s competition, but lost four straight as the season progressed. They haven’t played the Cubs since April 23.
The Brewers, on the other hand, have won all six games against the this season, making it arguably the worse of the two games for LA due to the lack of home-field advantage. The Brewers outscored the 31-16 and held the to two points or less in four of six games.
No matter who they play in the next series, the are getting hot at the right time. Their starting pitching has been great through the first six games of the postseason, winning five of them, and Shohei Ohtani or Blake Snell will be lined up to pitch in Game 1.
