Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is making headlines ahead of his 23rd year in the NBA.
For some reason, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has been in the headlines all offseason.
Most recently, fans slammed James for his “second decision” prank. But that aside, the more important update is that James has been ruled out of the Lakers’ season opener.
The 40-year-old will be sidelined for at least three to four weeks with sciatica on his right side.
For the first time in his tenure with the Lakers, a star better than James will lead the team.
Luka Doncic’s presence on the roster will certainly help the Lakers start the season without James. Speaking of his injury, former NBA star Gilbert Arenas has a concerning theory.
“I don’t know if this is one of those games where you guys started the season 0-5, 0-6, but for now, please,” Arenas said on the show.
Agent Zero added: “I’m sure he was looking at the same roster that we were looking at. He was sitting there like, hmmm.”
Arenas’ comments hint at the possibility that James wants the Lakers to understand his value. After all, many have been claiming all summer that the Lakers have moved on from King.
One popular theory on social media is that either James is faking the injury or it was a golf-related accident.
ESPN’s Brian Windhorst debunks golf theory, and Arenas now weighs in on the possibility that LBJ is faking his injury.
“He’s older, so things like this are going to happen,” Arenas said.
that’s it. James is almost 41 years old, but it’s important to remember that he already has experience from 22 seasons in the NBA.
On top of that, James has played the most minutes in postseason history. James takes good care of his body, and this injury is probably due to age finally catching up to him.
