According to Football Insider, Crystal Palace have named West Ham defender Maximilian Kilman as a potential replacement for England international defender Marc Guehi if he leaves during the January transfer window.
Gehi was close to a move to Liverpool at the end of the summer but fell through at the 11th hour and Real Madrid are also said to be considering signing his exploits on a free transfer, although interest from the Premier League champions remains. Both clubs are thought to be proposing the idea of a free transfer next summer for the player, whose contract expires by then, but the possibility of a sale in January cannot be ruled out at this point.
And if Guehi were to leave Palace, the south Londoners could make a move for Kilman, who has played 49 games for West Ham since joining from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2024. But they will be mindful that Kilman, 28, is under contract with the Hammers until 2031.
