Haas has unveiled its Stars and Stripes livery for this weekend’s US Grand Prix.
American teams will be running VF-25 cars with special livery that pays homage to their American roots for the next Grand Prix at Austin’s Circuit of the Americas.
Haas’ color scheme maintains the red, white and black featured on the car throughout the season, but incorporates the American flag’s Stars and Stripes.
These are heavily used on the VF-25’s front and rear wings, sidepods and engine cover.
This weekend’s US Grand Prix will be the second of three home races for Haas, with the others being held in Miami and Las Vegas.
Haas will go into the United States Grand Prix in ninth place in the constructors’ championship with 46 points.
Oliver Bearman finished ninth at the Singapore Grand Prix, picking up two points, which moved Haas within nine points of eighth-placed Sauber with six races remaining.
“I’m really excited about the United States Grand Prix. COTA always feels like home,” said Haas team principal Ayao Komatsu. “This is a busy week with lots of activity, but when you add in the fact that it’s a sprint, you get an adrenaline burn for the whole weekend.
“It was great to get back into the points with Ollie in Singapore, and here at COTA we are seriously looking to get both drivers into points positions.”
Haas confirms upgrade to Austin
Haas will bring “small upgrades” to the sprint race-style American Grand Prix.
“We bring a small upgrade package here, but since it’s a sprint weekend we only have FP1 to evaluate it, so it’s even more important that we get serious,” Komatsu added.
Bearman said: “We feel like we’re gaining momentum every weekend, we know the car is fast, and with more updates coming to the VF-25 in Austin, we feel like this should be a strong weekend.”
“This is my first American Grand Prix as a driver for the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, so I know I’ll be giving it my all, but it’s great to be able to soak up the atmosphere and passion of all the American fans. COTA will definitely be the highlight of the season as we share our mutual passion and love for this team and the sport.”
Like Bearman, Esteban Ocon is also preparing for his first US Grand Prix as a Haas driver.
“I’m excited to be back in Austin, especially as a driver for the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team. It’s a really cool city with a lot of energy and I’m always looking forward to coming back,” said the Frenchman.
“This is one of our home races, so we know our American fans will once again provide a great atmosphere throughout the weekend. COTA is a fun but challenging circuit and always produces entertaining races.”
“After Singapore, I have been practicing hard with the team at the training center and on the simulator. We aim to have a strong weekend and make the most of every opportunity that comes our way.”
“We’re looking forward to getting back out there, showing off our special livery and giving our home fans a lot of cheer.”
