Juventus have been linked with a move for Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca and are hoping to sign Andrej Santos alongside him.
The Chelsea manager has impressed since taking over at the London club, helping them win the UEFA Europa Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup. Juventus are keen to appoint the Italian as manager and it will be interesting to see how the situation develops.
Juventus wants to sign Maresca and Santos
According to a report from Juve Live, Chelsea may also consider signing 21-year-old Chelsea midfielder Andrej Santos. The Brazilian player is highly regarded across Europe and has a bright future ahead of him. He has been described as having “great” talent in the past. There is no doubt that he will be a good long-term investment for the Italian team.
Santos has struggled to get regular minutes at Chelsea and a move to Italy could be ideal for him, especially if Chelsea are prepared to offer him regular minutes. He needs to play more often to develop further and reach his potential. He has the qualities to develop into a high-quality player if given proper guidance.
A difficult pursuit for Juventus
It remains to be seen how the situation will develop. It will be very difficult for the Italian club to attract Chelsea’s manager and midfielder in the coming months. Maresca has made a good impression at Chelsea and they won’t want to lose him too soon. There is also no reason for the Italian manager to abandon his project at a Premier League club.
However, Chelsea have not been at their best under Maresca this season.
Similarly, Santos is highly regarded at the club and they would not want to lose him. Chelsea have attracted strong young talent to the club and are looking to build for the future.
