Tottenham Hotspur’s January transfer plans are beginning to take shape, with reports suggesting Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic could be the club’s winter signing.
According to Football Insider, the 25-year-old Serbian forward is “leaning” towards a move to north London as his contract with Torino approaches the end of his contract.
His current contract is due to expire at the end of the season, so Juventus are expected to consider an offer in January rather than risk losing him for free in the summer, with Tottenham at the front of the queue.
The striker has spent various spells in Turin since joining Juventus from Fiorentina in 2022 for around €80 million.
Juventus ready to release Dusan Vlahovic in January
With his contract expiring, Juve appear ready to sign the Serbian international, with the Premier League potentially his next destination.
The interest from Tottenham comes at a crucial time. Manager Thomas Frank is keen to strengthen his forward line, with Dominic Solanke and Randal Kolo-Muani both struggling with fitness at the start of the season.
The club are determined to further increase their depth and firepower as they aim for a top-four finish and a place in the Champions League.
Known for his clinical finishing, aerial ability and physical presence, Vlahovic is thought to be an ideal fit for Frank’s style of play.
Tottenham could sign striker on bargain transfer
The possibility of signing Vlahovic on a reduced fee only increases motivation for Tottenham.
Juventus, facing financial pressure and wary of losing their striker unnecessarily, could accept a significantly reduced offer in January.
That scenario would represent a major coup for the Spurs. Spurs have been linked to Vlahovic for years, but he was previously cut from his contract.
If the move goes through, Vlahovic could provide Tottenham with the cutting-edge talent they need to win silver and cement their place as one of England’s top teams.
