Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing AS Monaco winger Magnes Akrios.
They have been linked with the 23-year-old in the past and are following his progress. According to a report from TEAMtalk, the France international has attracted Tottenham’s attention as manager Thomas Frank looks to add more quality and depth to his side during the January period.
Magnes Akurios keen to join Spurs
The player recently revealed he was “very happy” to be linked with the north London club. It will be interesting to see if Spurs are encouraged to make a move for him in January. There is no doubt that he is technically gifted and a player with a bright future. He may prove to be a good long-term investment.
Akurioche had seven goals and 12 assists last season. Tottenham are also keeping an eye on Iliman Ndiaye.
The opportunity to move to the Premier League would be very exciting for the French player. Regular football in England could bring out the best in Akuriosh and help him realize his potential.
A move to Tottenham would be ideal for Akurioche.
Spurs have an exciting project and recently won the European trophy. They hope to fight for major trophies in the upcoming season and the 23-year-old would be attracted to the idea of joining them. He will play alongside quality players at Tottenham and will work with a quality manager like Thomas Frank.
It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can secure an agreement with Monaco. The French team will not want to lose a key player like him easily. They may command a premium.
Tottenham have the financial power to make a deal happen. They spent a lot of money in the summer transfer window. It remains to be seen whether they will now decide to pursue the French attacker in January.
