The Arsenal and Chelsea player is one of the big names in Spanish newspaper Marca’s Champions League Team of the Week.

The Gunners defeated La Liga opponents Atletico Madrid 4-0 at the Emirates Stadium, but one of Spain’s leading newspapers named Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhães as the players who impressed most in that game.

Watch Arsenal’s two Brazilians feature in a star-studded eleven, alongside other big names like Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandes and familiar faces like Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk and Marcus Rashford, currently on loan at Barcelona from Manchester United, below…

Fermín López is another Barça player, while Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and Paris Saint-Germain left-back Nuno Mendes are also attracting attention.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool achieve big wins in the Champions League

In this week’s Champions League, three teams, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool, scored a ton of goals and achieved big wins.

Mikel Arteta’s side defeated Atletico Madrid by four points at the Emirates Stadium in what looked, on paper at least, to be the toughest of these games.

But Arsenal were excellent, with Martinelli and Magalhães among the scorers on the night, continuing their 100% record at the start of the season.

Chelsea’s young stars also put on a real show as Fernandes converted a penalty at Stamford Bridge to put Ajax within five points, but some might say it was Brazilian teenager Estevao Willian who was the real standout of the game.

Liverpool finally got back to winning ways, and in some way, with a 5-1 away win against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Which English club will advance furthest in the Champions League this season? Will one of them make it all the way to the end and win the title? Let me know your thoughts and predictions in the comments!
