Gabriel Jesus has committed his future to Arsenal, confirming he intends to remain at the club until his contract ends in June 2027.
The Brazilian striker is nearing a return as he recovers from knee surgery following an ACL injury in January. Despite continued speculation about his possible departure in the next transfer window, especially with new signings Eberechi Eze and Victor Goqueres leading the attack, Jesus dismissed the rumors.
Speaking to Prakal via ESPN Brazil, he said: “The coach and the board say every day that they are keen to have me back. I don’t think I’m out of the club’s plans. I have a contract until 2027 and if it’s not renewed by then, I’ll be at the club at least until 2027.”
Jesus’ comments underline his commitment and importance to Arsenal’s long-term plans and provide reassurance to fans and management as the team await his return to strengthen their forward options.
The 28-year-old also revealed his desire to return to his boyhood club Palmeiras someday, but he has yet to return.
