Jack Miller can make Moto2 rider paths to move to the factory Yamaha team for the 2026 MotoGP season.
Jack Miller’s MotoGP future has been questionable since Pramac Yamaha signed Toplac Razgatriogul in the 2026 season.
The Australian has signed a one-year contract with an Italian team that joined from KTM this year.
In Mugello it was understood that Miller was heading straight to his head with his teammate Miguel Oliveira in the second Pramac seat next year.
The Portuguese rider’s contract with Pramac will be two years in 2025 and 2026, but Paolo Pavesio, managing director of Yamaha Motor Race, said Italy has “optionals.”
Diogo Moreira’s interest has the knock-on effect of Jack Miller

However, the third rider is currently in the Pramac equation, which is Diogo Molira. Diogo Molira shot the MotoGP factory priorities after winning Moto2’s priorities in the Netherlands from 29th to 4th to 4th. He rode the grass following a misunderstanding of Jake Dixon overtaking, then onto the track that snatched both himself and David Alonso out of the race.
Returning to the calendar next year, Brazil’s Grand Prix also has an incentive for the Championship promoter to have Brazilian riders on the best class grid next year, and Pramac could be his destination.
“There’s a big story in Paddock that Pramac may have two rookies next year,” said Jack Applied, reporter at Motogp.com.
“Diogo Moreira showed why all MotoGP factories are interested. His talent is out of this world, but he still has a rough edge.
“There’s a story about Diogo having a deep discussion with Pramac.”
Moreira’s move from MotoGP to MotoGP using Pramac triggers Miller to move to the factory team in place of the struggling Alex Rins.
“Given the fact that Alex Lyns had a miserable German Grand Prix, he was 40 seconds off Mark Marquez and he hadn’t found a recent form. There’s a chance Jack will move to Rynse’s seat.”
Moto2 Star Honda Rival Yamaha
MotoGP World Feed commentator Louis Suddaby said he has made it clear that Miller prefers to stay at the Grand Prix next year.
“Miller made it clear that despite some great rumors about the world, his priority is to stay in MotoGP,” says Suddaby.
If Pramac’s movement doesn’t occur, Moreira could end up with the LCR Honda team.
“Honda turned his attention to the Brazilians considering they might have missed Jorge Martin,” Appleyard said.
“We are not guaranteed to meet Jack (Miller) or Miguel (Oliveira) next year.”
Appleyard said “The Ducati and KTM story” is also linked to Moreira, but this is 2027.
