Manchester United’s season is not over yet, but even if Reuben Amorim could help it, the same cannot be said about Marcus Rashford.
Currently publishing Aston Villa books, following the February switch of Lone Switch to Midland, the 27-year-old must watch his parent club bid for the glory of the Europa League.
It was his first full season in the senior ranks at Old Trafford, and Jonger was particularly lively at the time, with five goals and assists, including a stunningly important free kick to Celta Vigo.
That influence continued on the scene a year ago, one year before the final months of the 2015/16 season, ending that campaign with eight goals in the first team game of 18 under the Louis Van Girl watch.
But perhaps his prime year came during the reign of Ole Gunnar Solskier, with the academy alumni registering 26 goals in 31 Premier League matches in 2019/20, and registering 24 more top flight outs the following season.

Among the forward’s 30-goal hero, a brief revival occurred in 2022/23, but in recent years it has shown too many contradictions. Potential youthful alternatives already appear to be lined up…
Search for the latest Man UTD forwards
In addition to the move widely reported to Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Matheus Cunha, the new centre-forward signatures have been heated this summer on the Amorim and Ineos agenda, with Rasmus Hojlund scoring just four league goals on 2024/25 so far.
As outlined by GivemeSport, the Red Devils identified Liam Dellup and Victor Osimhen as leading candidates for searching for the new number 9, although said to be “complicated.”
Certainly, with regard to Osimhen, there are concerns about Nigeria’s potential wage demands and indeed willing to specialise in the club, but there are doubts as to whether Dellup, rated £30 million, is keen to move to Old Trafford.

Mega Money deals, controversial moves, famous flops. This is the home of transfer news and opinions across Football FanCust.
With that in mind, an alternative to their pair is currently being created, outlined that one of the people Ineos “watches” is Hugo Echicchike, a sense of Eintract Frankfurt.
Previously in the book by Paris Saint-Germain – frequently associated with Newcastle United in the past – the French have been fascinated in Germany this season, and have been interested in him from the Manchester people.
One major obstacle is the 22-year-old’s price tag reported for £80 million, but if you have any kind of room, you might come to United’s radar more specifically.
Why Hugo Ekitike is like the main Rashford
After a difficult few years under the microscope at Manchester United, Rashford looked to be returning to his best with his recent villa shirt before the recent blow of cruel injuries.
In fact, the experienced forward scored the villain’s first league goal with a breakaway goal on the counter against Brighton and Hove Albion, releasing memories of the goal against Arsenal in the beginning of 2022/23, evoking Chelsea’s second strike on the first day of 2019/20 with 4-0 thrashing.
Meanwhile, the resurrected striker was sometimes breathtaking against Paris Saint-Germain. Unai Emery’s side bravely crashed on the quarter-final stage, with Rashford teeing Ezri Conser after a stunning solo on his right flank.
His speed and skill showed the Rashford tints that United fans have seen for years, and his polarizing talent seemed almost “unstopped” in his dignity – as Eric Ten Hag pointed out.
In many respects, the aforementioned Ekitike exhibits an exciting similarity with the major version of “Rashy.”
This season has been particularly fruitful for the former PSG starlet. He has already registered 22 goals with 22 goals and has another 10 assists in 45 games in all aspects, including 15 Bundesliga goals and six assists.
He has not since emulated Rashford’s best Premier League tally. This was suggested in 2019/20, with a record of 17 goals and nine assists during the campaign that influenced the community.

Ekitike, who has been described as “one of the best strikers out there” by data analyst Ben Matinson, also reflects United’s outcasts in the range of offensive metrics when comparing these two seasons.
Its quality led to a sought after marksman subtly netting with the Europa League’s Tottenham Hotspur, running his man from his left flank, unleashing a fun finish in the far corner.
It’s hard to see Rashford’s elements at their best when they witness Ekitique on full flow, as the French U21 International could represent the perfect successor to the Red Devils’ 138 goal enigma.
Incidentally, United was his “favourite club” as a child…
