Football presenter Richard Keys has a question with Manchester United manager Reuben Amorim with enough questions to drive the club forward.
The Red Devils are currently 14th in the Premier League, but have been successful in Europe this season.
Amorim leads the Premier League Giants to the Europa League semi-finals, where they meet Athletic Bilbao.
Keys believes there are better options to manage Man United. This season, Amorim’s performance should be questioned considering his free-to-use resources.
The Portuguese manager has been appointed this season and United have fired Eric Ten Hag, but the team’s performance in the Premier League has not improved. In fact, it’s regressing under Amorim and they are set to finish in the worst position ever in the league this season.
As the Mirror reported, Keys said about Bein Sports:
“The question is, do you trust him to rebuild Manchester United for another £250 million from what we saw?”
The experienced football presenter has appointed former England boss Gareth Southgate as the right man to take charge of Man United.
“Because he took England to two European Championship Finals. He understands what he needs to feel good about modern players and himself, his soccer team, the club he plays. He is a master of manipulation and motivation.”
Reuben Amorim has more time at Man United
Southgate’s performance is undoubtedly great for the UK. He took me to the latter stage of the tournament, but it’s not logical to remove Amorim at this stage.
The Portuguese manager deserves to earn more time at United and if he is given a signature that suits his system and fits his style, he can do a good job for the club.
He has shown he is tactically well-known in his team and their strengths and weaknesses in big games this season.
United defeated Manchester City at Etihad Stadium this season, winning a draw at Anfield, knocking out Arsenal from the FA Cup.
At some stage next season, we can get better ideas about Amorim and whether he is the right guy to move the Red Devils forward.
Amorim is currently working to improve the club by targeting the movements of two players.
