Aaron Gordon had a career night in a classic game between the Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors.

Denver Nuggets star Aaron Gordon’s season ended on a bitter note after he was sidelined with a hamstring injury in the Western Conference semifinals.

Gordon bravely decided to continue playing, but ultimately lost in Game 7 to the eventual champion OKC Thunder.

To start the new season, Aaron Gordon returned with a vengeance, scoring 50 points for the Nuggets in the opening game against the Warriors, who were playing in their second game.

Sadly for Gordon, despite scoring an incredible 50 points, the Warriors won 137-131 after 2OT.

Aaron Gordon had 50 points, eight rebounds and two assists. Teammate Nikola Jokic had a triple-double with 21 wins, 13 losses, and 10 draws.

Gordon’s previous career best came in 2017, when he scored 41 points against the Nets in Orlando. His best performance with the Nuggets came in March against the Warriors, when he scored 38 points.

Aaron Gordon had an impressive start to the season, becoming only the sixth player in history to start a season with 50 points.

He is the first player with the Denver Nuggets to accomplish that.

In the locker room after the game, Aaron Gordon revealed that he declined the chance to take the ball home to commemorate his score.

Gordon was upset about the loss and said he didn’t want to remember his team losing.

The Nuggets will continue their season, facing the Phoenix Suns and then the Minnesota Timberwolves, looking to get back on track.
