New York Knicks fans didn’t take the Tom Thibodeau days for granted. After years in the NBA wilderness, the coaches have brought them back to relevance.

This past season, Tom Thibodeau, took the New York Knicks to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in 25 years. But this wasn’t enough.

Thibodeau was fired after a loss to the Pacers and there was strong sentiment about the Knicks’ decision.

Outspoken analyst and Knicks fan Stephen A. Smith exploded his team and called for an NBA investigation due to no communication from ownership.

But looking forward to it, he stated how the Knicks could win him again.

The New York Knicks are claimed to have the first nominee list of candidates, including Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka.

Udoka is building something special with the Rockets, so the move can be unlikely.

Stephen A. Smith told his YouTube channel that Udoka is an appointment that will allow him to win.

He states: “Everything I said about the Knicks yesterday, even their weak ass statement by President Leon Rose, if they came and said Ime Udoka would be the head coach of the New York Knicks, I would have forgiven him.

“Everything would have been allowed. ImeUdoka is a coach’s hell.”

However, he admitted that it might not be possible and even explained that he had checked himself in on whether Houston could have him leave.

“I called a source in the organization five minutes ago and they said, ‘You couldn’t pay us well.’

“He’s not going anywhere… Imeudoka is staying in Houston.”

The ESPN personality has named his top five list of Knicks coaching choices.

He chose Jalen Brunson’s father, Rick Brunson, as his fourth option, citing his coaching experience.

The Knicks will have a tough job moving Ty Lue away from the LA Clippers, but another coach they allegedly interested in is Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd.

Kidd’s move is claimed unlikely, but not impossible, as ESPN insider Tim McMahon refuses to rule it out.
