Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta appears to be relaxing about Bukayosaka’s future at Emirates Stadium, saying he is confident the club is “above.”
The gunners are undoubtedly keen to sign Saka into a new contract as soon as possible, and England International has proven to be one of the most important players in recent years.
Starting up through Arsenal’s academy, Saka is now a world-class talent and one of the names of Arteta’s team sheets.
Therefore, it is not so surprising that there were some questions about Saka’s future.
“When the time comes and we have those conversations, I’m sure the club is very above it,” Arteta said.
“I think Bukayo was also very clear in his intentions so I think everything is in the right place.”
Bukayosaka helped Arsenal knock out Real Madrid and now he’s linked to the Spanish giants
Saka scored an impressive goal for Arsenal in his most recent 2-1 victory at the Bernabéu, earning a strong performance from the North London Giants on both feet in the Champions League quarterfinals.
In fact, the 23-year-old was so impressive that Real Madrid is said to be keen to sign himself!
Todo Fichajes’ surprise report recently claimed that the Chief of Los Blancos is preparing to test his luck with Saka with a bid of 120 million euros.
There is no doubt that the better the Saka fits well on this Madrid side, but it is also difficult to imagine Arsenal being willing to sell it at essentially any price.
Saka is a very popular player at Arsenal and a new contract for him is certainly a club’s priority.
Still, if the AFC doesn’t win major trophies like the Premier League and Champions League in the next two or three years, players like Saka might start asking questions about this project.
