Fabrizio Romano spoke about speculation surrounding the future of Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. in his connection to Liverpool and Arsenal.
The Brazilian forward continues to shine as a star player for the Los Blancos, and it’s hard to imagine them eager to lose him anytime soon.
Still, under the new manager Xabi Alonso, there appears to be uncertainty about the situation with Vinicius.
This makes it clear that Liverpool and Arsenal have been informed of the potential availability of the 25-year-old, according to TBR Football.
However, Romano responded to speculation by insisting that Vinicius was happy with Real Madrid and that he wanted to stay and sign a new contract…
Vinicius Junior to stay in Real Madrid?
As you can expect, it seems difficult for Liverpool and Arsenal to sign Vinicius.
This is a world-class talent that has certainly been in the frame for poor Baron in his career, and it’s not something that real players tend to let go.
The Spanish Giants have many other elite attackers on their team, but there is certainly room for Vinicius to play a key role.
Vinicius Juniors will be an exciting addition to the Premier League
Still, it’s certainly exciting to see Vinicius play for England at some point, and he’ll have a lot to offer to Liverpool and Arsenal and more.
Gunner has had a busy summer, but perhaps he can do good to bring Gabriel Martinelli an upgrade at some point, moving Ebelech Eze into a central role in the long run.
Meanwhile, Liverpool has also invested a lot in new attackers, and while they feel it’s worth chasing someone like Vinicius as an upgrade to Cody Gakpo, Florian Wirtz isn’t off to a great start at Anfield either.
