Manchester United is reportedly accelerating talks about the relocation of the Viktor Gyoker, the Sports Lisbon goal machine, before the summer.
Despite his competition with Atletico Madrid, Man Utd appears to be moving things in the right direction as things stand.
That’s according to a report by Fichajes that says the Red Devils are accelerating efforts to land a gyoker, who is expected to pack his bags soon and head to the Premier League.
It will be interesting to see how this will come to fruition, but if this report is fine, it looks good for United.
Viktor Gyokeres is perfect for Reuben Amorim’s Manchester United Project
Described by his current manager as “a phenomenal” (by the Tri-Bonna), Gjoker helped Swedish International hit such an explosive form when he was in charge of sports, so Reuben Amorim would be familiar with it.
If he could have such a clinical finisher with him at Old Trafford, things could make him look more optimistic next season.
United’s current offensive options are pretty poor and Joshua Azirudgee struggles in his first season with the club, but Rasmus Hozirund is now closer to being there for two years without actually having any impact.
Can Man United sign someone like Gyoker without Champions League football?
Gyoker has already linked with MUFC several times, but imagines that the club could struggle to attract players like him without Champions League football.
Amorim actually answered this particular question, following Fabrizio Romano’s X and below post…
It would be interesting to see Gyoker decide, as Amorim revealed he wants players who want to play for United.
The 26-year-old imagined he had many other options after such an exceptional season, and United was like a cemetery of talent during the post-seal Alex Ferguson era.
