The Los Angeles have activated utility man Kique Hernandez from the injured list and have been designated infielder Buddy Kennedy for the task, the team announced.

Kennedy is seen leaving the clubhouse in street clothing, indicating the are making roster moves.
Hernandez has been on the sidelines with an elbow injury since early July. There was the first concern that fan favorites could return to this season, but Hernandez miraculously began to move up.
Hernandez spent a down year, but with eight home runs hit .195, 22 runs hit, an OPS of .626, the are desperate for his positional versatility.
Manager Dave Roberts revealed that Hernandez is planning to be in the lineup each of the next two nights, so the two remaining games against the Cincinnati Reds.
“I don’t know exactly where he’s going to start, but he’ll be available tonight from the bench,” Roberts said Monday. “The next two nights he’ll get two starts.”
The had several position players in Illinois, including Hernandez, Max Muncie, Heisen Kim and Tommy Edman. La claimed that he exempted Kennedy from the Toronto Blue Jays this summer in lieu of all injuries.
Kennedy appeared in seven games for the , going 17-17 on the plate. The infielders didn’t thrive in the batter’s box, but Kennedy made some key defensive plays at LA’s 3 base during a short stint with the organization.
